Amy was born in Oregon and then grew up in a small town in Upstate NY, until she moved to Utah to attend college at Brigham Young University. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education she started her insurance career in 2003 as a policy analyst for an insurance company in New York, focusing on specialty risks for emergency service organizations . She earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 2004 and still holds that designation currently. After three years Amy moved to a different company located in Salt Lake City, Utah and worked with a managing general agent, servicing excess and surplus lines as well as commercial trucking and business auto policies for seven years. While in Utah, Amy got married to her sweetheart and started a family. Now she lives in the beautiful mountains of Colorado with her husband and two daughters. Amy has earned her Property and Casualty license and is looking forward to getting back into the insurance profession after being away for 10 years to focus on raising her children full-time. She enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and teaching music to the children at church.
