Berta Cruz is a Colorado native who was born in Denver. She graduated from North High School and attended the Community College of Denver, where she studied business. Berta has been working in the insurance profession since 1992, and received her Property and Casualty license in 1996. Berta’s interest in the insurance industry was sparked when she was involved in an auto accident herself back in 1992. Hit by a drunk driver, she was seriously injured in the wreck and needed reconstructive surgery. At that time, she carried only the state minimums for auto insurance, which was the impetus behind her learning more about the industry. Berta knows firsthand that being involved in an accident can be a devastating experience, and her empathy gives her a unique perspective when it comes to making sure her customers have adequate coverage. Today, Berta specializes in commercial insurance and has received her CISR designation. She has been affiliated with MAC Insurance Financial Services, Inc., since 2013 and has built a strong client base from personal referrals. Berta takes pride in educating her clients about the importance of qualify Insurance and goes the extra mile to assure that her clients have the best coverage at the most affordable rate. She is the mother of two children, both girls. Berta is an avid runner who ran her first marathon in October 2014. In addition to running, she stays active by weight training, high intensity interval training, and camping. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
