As a husband and father, I empathize and understand the financial stress that comes when thinking about paying for college and hoping to retire someday. My goal is to help relieve as much of that stress as possible. I have been helping students get admitted into great universities and helping parents pay the least amount possible since 2001.
I actively volunteer at my church. I help families find financial peace by helping them optimize where they put their money for retirement, long-term care, college, etc., and find the best value for insurance protection. An effective and efficient financial plan needs to look at the whole picture and take into account life’s biggest stumbling blocks.
Born and raised in Iowa, after graduating from Iowa State University, I moved to Los Angeles originally to attend seminary school. However, I found a different path to helping people and that came when I started working in the Financial Aid Office at the University of Southern California. During my tenure at USC, I was known as the dream-maker. I traveled to high schools throughout Southern California and literally helped thousands of families qualify for more financial aid, spend less on college, and ensured their children graduated on time. While working at USC, I also obtained a master’s degree and was adjunct faculty until 2017.
Because of my years of experience, I am able to successfully help students find their best-fit colleges, help them get admitted, and help parents save more and pay less for any U.S.-based college. If you are at all concerned about college, please contact me today. The sooner we plan for college, the better the results we can achieve.
